Who Is Eligible?

Eligibility for the Zion’s Evening Program is determined through testing. Testing is done on a computer through the Versant Exam. You will be tested for reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.

There is a minimum score of 50 on the Versant Exam (Level B1 CEFR) to join the class.  All other non-qualifying students will be offered spaces in other levels and will have the opportunity to join Zions once they have completed level 5 in the General English Program.

Students who have completed level 5 in the General English program DO NOT need to test into Zions.  To sign up, please write to the program coordinator Brian Parrott at b.parrott@utah.edu.

If you apply, please take your test as soon as possible.  The class fills up very quickly.
