Fun Summer Classes
Are you looking for fun ways to fill your time this summer? Whether you're a current student, thinking about studying here, or just wanting to visit, The English Language Institute at the University of Utah will show you how to make the most of your time in the beehive state! These fun, summer classes are taught online by our own instructors, and focus on everything you need to know as you travel and interact with those around you. Join us, ask questions, and be better prepared to have a fun, safe, and fulfilling time exploring our beautiful state!
Note: You don't have to be a matriculated student or worry about getting or maintaining your visa to take these classes. They are open to the public.

Classes
Street English: Slang, Idioms, & Taboos - Register Now
July 20-24 | 5 hours of Instruction | Cost: $75
Instructor: Randall Davis
In this class, you will learn a wide variety of idioms, slang, and even "dangerous"
or sometimes offensive language that will build your understanding and help you speak
more naturally. Each day, we will cover a new topic including relationships and romance,
money, education, and business. Come join us and learn to speak more fluently.

Instructor: Mark Brady
This class will help you improve the clarity of your spoken English by improving your
pronunciation of specific sounds, more natural stress and intonation, and rhythm of
your speech.
